GlycoAla is a breakthrough in skin health…harnessing the power of LED light to turn back time

An Advanced Cosmetic Photodynamic Skin Care Treatment.

Cosmetic photodynamic therapy is an exciting new science featuring light-activated photosensitive topical creams and gels that promote dramatic, visible anti-aging results.

GlycoAla® is the world’s only photodynamic gel that includes hyaluronic acid; this revolutionary new photodynamic skin care gel also utilizes an advanced glycosphere nanoparticle delivery system for enhanced stability, absorption, and results.

GlycoAla helps to enhance the overall appearance of the skin, without the discomfort, side effects and downtime often associated with more aggressive anti-aging techniques.

IS IT THE RIGHT TREATMENT FOR ME?

So what does the GlycolAla ultimately do? Quite simply, GlycolAla decreases pore size, firms the look of the skin, minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and promotes the appearance of hydration and an even skin tone. Unlike the conventional IPL (intense pulsed light) which has been employed for decades to treat sun exposed skin damage and the associated hyper pigmentation and skin texture, Glyco-Ala can safely be used on all skin color types and races of people and can be used on skin that has recently had sun exposure.

Common questions about GlycolAla focus on the discomfort and downtime associated with the treatment. During GlycoAla treatment, a mild tingling or burning sensation may be felt. This typically subsides within 5 minutes. The treated area will be somewhat red immediately after the treatment and this redness will continue to increase over the subsequent 24-48 hours. Dryness and peeling may also occur and application of vitamin A, C, and E are helpful in the post-treatment recovery. You must avoid all indirect and direct sunlight in the 48 hours after treatment.

Contraindications to GlycoAla treatment included use of a retinol or Retina-A product on the area within 2 weeks, broken skin, pregnancy, Lupus, acne treatment within 2 weeks, botox injected within 30 days , photosensitizing medication, bleeding disorders or the use of anticoagulants, porphyria, epilepsy, systemic antibiotics or steroids within the past 2 weeks history of keloids or hypertrophic scars, and photosensitive disorders like albinism. Results from GlycoAla are typically seen around 30 days after treatment.
